Anyone got some good persuasive speech ideas for me?

I have to give a persuasive speech this week and need a good topic. I have a few topics in mind but none of them are really great, here is what I have so far;

Why you should buy a motorcycle.
Why the speed limit should be raised.
Why you should use credit cards.
Why California should issue CCWs.


Anybody have some good topics that will really blow people away? All my past speeches this semester have been pretty good and actually peeked the interest of the audience. But, with this topic Im having a hard time finding a real good speech.
 
Why apartheid was a good thing.
Why the atrocities committed by the Japanese in WWII were justified.
Why Israel should be allowed to destroy its enemies.
Why Bush and his criminal cabal of murderers, torturers, and war profiteers did the right thing.

hmm... with those topics.. i'm gonna assume this is a junior high school project?

The case for organ donation
The need for recycling
Why the death penalty should be abolished
The need for gun control
The dangers of taking illegal steroids
Why we should wear seat belts in cars
Why you should become a blood donor
Gay marriage
Euthanasia

Hmm, I could argue against gun control as I am not for that.

You just gave me another idea, I could argue that current CA cell phone laws are useless. That its not the act of holding a cell phone that is distracting its the call itself.

You could argue that its wrong to persuade people.
 
How about the wonderful topic entitled:

"Why I have to go to an internet forum to get ideas for my homework."

That's usually a big hit with the teachers.

Id give a speech on that. Where I get a topic from and even what the topic is, is irrelevant so long as I do proper research and deliver it adequately.
 
Try to persuade a girl in the class to go on a date with you.

Film it and upload it to youtube. Link here for lulz.
 
Why we should legalize Marijuana or all drugs. (almost too easy)
Why welfare should be abolished or expanded.
Why the president should be allowed more than 2 terms or why we should have term limits for congress.

Those are the same tired old crap issues that everyone gives a persuasive speech on. Mix it up a little.

The case for legalizing marijuana.
The case for legalizing prostitution.
Why the Tea Party is the best thing to happen to American politics in decades.
Why Apple is an evil company whose products should be avoided at all costs.
Why the gradual erosion of the public domain is a bad thing for the US.
