I'm typing on my horrible old olympic job now :(

i don't think a huge amount went in, but i immediately turned it over and poured the beer out, took the batteries out, and now it's sitting upside down on a clothes drying rack...

anything else i can do?

it's the cordless logitech keyboard that came with my Mx Duo too, my mx700 is feeling lonely now :(

how easy are they to take apart and clean?

Cheers,

dug.

dunno about cordless keyboards, but traditional keyboards can be cleaned in a washing machine. remember to air dry though...

I'm not sure of a cordless keyboard either, but I've put my trusty wired keyboard in my dishwasher (use way less detergent than usual) and left it to air dry for at least a day or two and it's always come out good as new. Alternatively you can unplug it, make sure the batteries are out, open it up, and clean it out with pure isopropyl alcohol (read: NOT beer  ) and still give it some time to try out and it should be fine.

And quit abusing the poor alcohol!

4.5% is not full strength. WTF? Natty light is 4.2% and that's wattered down (albeit the nectar of cheap beers in the states). Try some Steel Reserve High Gravity for full strength.

I have one of those, and a little boy spilled a coke in it. Take the batteries out and put in the DISH WASHING Machine. But NO HEAT CYCLE!!!! I had to do mine twice to get them all un stuck. Just be sure and let it dry out upside down for at least a day after washing. Should work fine.

Well here that's classified as full strength :p thats a little bit lower than the cheap beer we mostly drink (4.9%), and that most people buy at the pub.

Someone always says 'nrrrngghhh it's not full strength unless it's 8%' or something ridiculous, but for easy drinking draught beer that's never the case. There is no country any where that has a standard full strength draught beer much over 5% i suspect.

Just let it dry for a long time, it will still work, if you are lucky all of the keys will still work, ive spilt things on old keyboards and they always worked again but like the scroll lock would not work or something.

i once got mashed potatos on my keyboard...I had to take out all the keys and clean them one by one (it was an expensive keyboard)

Ah, well I guess I'm not too familiar with "full strength" terminology. Here we just have light and regular, or weird names if you're Rolling Rock and Michelob.

4.5% is close to what a normal domestic would be here, but I'm pretty sure Bud is 5.2%.

8% may go a little over "full strength" to "strong". But I've heard rumors of a company called Bell's from Michigan or Ohio or something that make a Beer at 11%, which I think is officially a malt beverage.

he's talking full flavored and fruity tones, and you reccommend Steel Reserve? That crap is the nastiest of nasty malt liqour. at least have some decency and drink Cammo Silver or OE800. :p
but seriously i doubt he was drinking to get hammered off of the last $3 he had left.

no, bud is under 5% as are most domestic "regular beers" i believe busch is highest of the commercial beers at like 4.8%. and malt liquor can have a much lower ABV than 11%. mickey's is only 8% and it is malt liqour.

Haha. See my above post. I just associated his 4.5% with being the reason it was a full strength beer.

Just soak your KB in water, sans batteries, for a while, then dry that mofo like a sumbitch.

It may be 4.9% or something, but Bud/Natty Ice are both 5.9 or so.
