Nor did I. I grabbed an Evaluation ISO of Win 7 64bit from MS, installed that, then ran the Win 8 updater to get an ISO.

Where are you getting the Win 7 evaluation iso from? Link??
MS discontinued their trial/evaluation downloads of Win 7 a few years ago. Any Google reference to it brings you to this page: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/default

I did find this, but I'm not sure if this is still an evaluation copy. It does state Limitations: 90 day trial. http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/Windows-7.shtml Give it a try, download the Pro X64 version.

Now will you be able to upgrade to Win 8 Pro X64 from a Win 7 Pro X64 trial version????????

I've got an ISO from my work's MSDN subscription. Is it legal to distribute that ISO (not associated CD keys, just the iso)?
