Anyone good at card tricks? classic pass question

GasX

Lifer
I am trying to teach myself the classic pass and having watched a bunch of tutorials on youtube, I am a bit confused. I see methods where the bottom set of cards is pulled under and placed on top of the other cards and I have also seen methods where the top cards are pulled aside and the bottom cards pushed up while the other cards are put below. Do these both count as the "classic pass"? Also, if you were going to learn one method first, which one would it be?

There are 3 types of passes I believe. The standard one(most often used) is what they call the invisible pass and is because it's hidden from the most angles. Youtube that for the tutorial.

It's not a trick, Michael, it's an illusion.

A trick is something a hooker does for money.... or cocaine.

I think I answered my own question. The "under/over" is a version of the turnover pass which is easier. The other way is the "classic pass".

Anyone able to confirm this?
