Hello..my first post..weee....Me and my fiance of 3 years just broke up and I need to find somewhere to live in Austin that is close to Campus or has campus shuttle....anyone know of a good place or anyone looking for a roomate?? HELP!!Text
 
If you dont mind riding the shuttle, take a look at some of the complexes on Riverside. Most of them are fairly new and spacious. I believe they will set you up with roommates too if you want. And its not usually a big deal living with strangers bc you will most likely have your own room.
 
yes but my EX lives on Riverside, college park, so I dont think that would work. I need something west campus maybe. I dont have many friends at the moment since most of them went with the Ex...sigh.....I dont know what to do!
 
Come on man, if you need help, we need more info.

When do you need to move? Is this an emergency? Like where are you sleeping tonight? What's your $ range? There are TONS of apartment locator services around campus, at no cost to you.
 
okay well, I start school Jan 14, so a month. My price range is low because my parents have lost their jobs and we have no money, but I am going to take out student loans because I will not mess up my chance at going to UT. So I guess $500 range. Roomates welcome, I would rather not be in a trashy area, I was thinking West campus since it is close, but I dunno. Furnished, nonfurnished, I dont care. 2 or 4 bedroom......I am not a dirty person, I am responsible...so Im a good person to live with...sigh this just sucks...time is not on my side
 
So you live at home now? In your first post it sounded like you live with your fiance and she's kicking you out. Plenty of time until Jan.

Don't worry about, call a locator tomorrow with all the info and they can help you out. Or look here for roommates.


Ps. sorry about friends going with ex, that just sucks, such friends. :disgust:

whats with the chicks here and the lobster? i mean, theres only 4 women, and 2 of them use lobsters (you and eakers) so thats 50% already
 
Good luck, around here, all places are taken up unless you want to pay more $ than what they're worth.
 
hhehe wow I didnt know chicks were so scarce. My Ex is on here all the time so I signed up in hopes that I could learn more about computers. I picked the crab because...i dunno...no one else had it.....

I cant prove it, but I think we have more than 4 women here.
 
I'm considering attending UT next fall, and am looking at staying at the Castillian. This will definitely be out of your price range, (looks like it is $730 for double occupancy per month, I will let you know more when I get the details in the mail if you are interested) but at least you have something to compare to. Good luck!
