Anyone going to the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in LA??

Maybe Nvidia will announce their new NV35 for a really, really good price? Probably not...
Only hot deal might the the console makers annoucing price drops on the consoles, PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube, $149 for first two, and $99 for latter... Maybe

I'm still wavering on getting the Cube before prices fall. I would love to get a few free games to go with it. As far as E3, I will be first in line for the new FALL OF MAX PAYNE preview. (drools)...

i'll be there. look for the dorky looking computer nerd.

i hope it's better than last year. besides doom3, nothing that good last year for pc's.

I'd like to go. Heck, I live in Los Angeles too :frown:

Maybe I can go next year, if it's not invite/trade only and somehow magically I wind up with lots of money so I can wander about all day.

Its pretty hot if you folks get to go. There are tons of freebies and giveaways. As well as a chances to test drive some of the latest products.

thursday. friday is only a half day because they start packing up stuff, and sometimes companies wait to reveal something until thursday.

Sux, I got an invite but it says two proofs that you are involved in the gaming industry (other than the fact that you are a gamer, no matter how hard core) are needed for entrance, and they DO check it.

I really want to go but never get to go...well...I think i got some hookups that will enable me to go next year.

I've got a pass to go as well, but do I really need to show two forms of proof? And how exactly would they know if it is legit or not?

I have a business card and I can show a pay stub, but how do they know one way or another if my company is affilaited with the industry?

Someone PLEASE respond. I'd like to go Thursday, so I need to start making my plans now.
