Anyone going to CES?

Anyone? I'm thinking of going and was wondering if anyone else was going or not, also wanted to get a heads up for anyone who has never gone. (such as myself)

Can the general public get in, or do you have to be a member of the press or some corporation etc?

Yes, I will be there. Been two years in a row. Nice show, waayyyyy to many people though.

I went 2 years ago when the big thing there was the 103" plasma TV. It's not open to the general public. You have to be in affiliated in the consumer electronics industry in some way. I want to go this year, but don't have a job in this field anymore. Unless, anyone know of a way to get in there.

Tell your boss/wife/whoever you're going for CES, but go to the OTHER Expo in Vegas instead.

Heh... I remember going to Venetian 2 years ago after CES cause the AVN expo had just finished. Porn stars everywhere on the casino floor. It was great
