Anyone going to any bowl games?

<-- Going to the Outback Bowl. Tickets were $60 after TicketMaster fees. I might've missed this one, but the fact that it's going to be the Davids' (Greene and Pollack) final college game made it an easy decision.

Well, I got my tickets for the mediocre holiday bowl. $58, but well worth it to a loyal Cal fan.
Being a Cal alum, I almost bought a Rose Bowl ticket a month back...

Going to the Holiday Bowl too. I live in San Diego so it's not much of a drive. I'd much rather be going to Pasadena instead.

No, but I should be having a blast watching USC beating the crap out of oklahoma.

Trojans rock.

i'm a fan of neither team but i really doubt usc will beat the crap out of oklahoma. i predict sooners by a touch.

WHAT FOR?? Pay for fight, get strip searched by ex-felons at the air port, rent a car, have to fiddle and adjust the mirror and seat for 15 minutes, wait in rush hour traffic for two hours get get to the stadium, pay $18 for parking, another hour lumbering into the stadium by foot, shoulder to shoulder banging knee to knee finding my seat among screaming pre-intoxicated people, wait 20 minutes for beer man, pay $8 a beer only to wait another 20 mintues for another, all to watch a game I can't see real well for hundreds of dollars?

No thanks been there done that. I like my living room and fridge stocked with newcastle so much better and it's cheaper to boot.

96 dollars for my flight. I'm not renting a car because a friend of mine lives in a suburb of New Orleans and he is picking me up from the airport. I"m taking an 8 dollar shuttle on my return trip the airport. I'm also not driving or riding to the Stadium -- my room is not far from the Superdome, so I'm walking along with the other fans to the Stadium. I'm staying in a freaking nice ass hotel for 169 a night, which may seem like much to many, but since the flight was so cheap and I need a vaction I'm splurging. I'll be able to walk around the French Quarter bar-hopping, and not have to worry about a rental car or cab fare.

Then I'll walk to Tiger Walk -- see the players and get hyped up -- after that I'll work on my bottle of Scotch or Maker's Mark and put the rest in my flask. I'm walk into a stadium FULL of my people and we will yell and scream and ride the rollercoaster together. I'll be giving people hits off my flask and be mixing it with my 4.00 coke and taking hits out of it straight as well. I'll have a fvcking great time while you are sitting there at home isolated from the action.

Yeppers, going to the Continental Tire Bowl at home in Charlotte. Bought tix for $25 apiece back before they had picked teams, and my alma mater (UNC) ends up playing BC in the game!
