their program is a 5-year CO-OP deal...most of my friends who went there got nice jobs straight out of school...a bit pricey though ($40Kish)...

So by my math (which is flawed) 32-12 = 20k per year * 5 years = 100k in debt right outta school

EDIT: unless the 32k is for all 5 years, then your 20k is a good deal. I think this is RossMan territory. I don't think he's saved 12k on anything :)

Well it's 12k every year plus whatever I get fin aid. Lets say around 8k so I pay 12k. And i'll probably be able to pay a 2/5 or so of the 60k with working during summers and from the co-op program. I think it will be manageable but time will only tell.

Northeastern is nice, my friend just finished his MBA there. It is a city campus so if you can deal with that then there should be no issue (there is a little green, but not that much)...it is easily accessable via the train and there is tons of stuff going on in that area...but it is a very expensive school and many people who go there are well to do, so if you have a problem dealing with people who are young and well to do and act kinda snobby then the social scene might be tough, I went to a school in Western mass where everyone was basically a hippie :).

If I had the oppertunity I would definately take it...good luck.

I went there, but I was graduated 9 years ago, and the campus has changed a lot since then, so I won't be much help with how things are now. I was a commuter student, so I didn't live on campus, but wow I sure don't remember it having a reputation as a high priced snobby type school. In fact I seem to remember it being slagged on for being an accept anyone school with a large student body (in my time I believe it was the largest private university in the country) with the co-op as it's main selling point. I guess they have tried to change their image in the last few years though.
