I was raised Catholic but I don't think I'll give up anything. Maybe give up eating fatty foods so I can lose more weight? :laugh:

Good Friday is my 8th annual steak night / catholic high school reunion :)

pretty much every Good Friday since junior year of high school, me and a couple friends from hs have made a point of meeting up on Good Friday and enjoying a nice slab of rare red meat. it started off as a joke, but it evolved into a nice tradition.

Because, you know, giving up steak, chocolates, smoking, sex, etc is JUST LIKE human sacrifice!

(I don't give up anything for Lent....but sure do make fun of those who do! HOO-AH! Work with a bunch of Catholics!!)

My gf who is giving up all fast food and only allowing an hour of TV a day... The hour of TV a day should be REALLY hard on her.
