I'm about to give up trying to resize my NTFS partitions. I just was given a copy of Partition Magic 6, and I installed it in 2000 (I've got XP pro on here also). Every time I try to resize either one of my 2 NTFS Partitions I get error #1527 on both partitions. The manual says to run chkdsk /f, I did that to both partitions and I am still getting this error! I am more than frusterated because In using both Partition Magic 4.01 and now 6.0 I have not gotten it to resize properly NTFS v5 partitions! Any help would be greately appreciated. Thanks!

It looks like the XP install changed the NTFS partitions in some way that PM doesn't like...check this link Error 1527

I didn't look elsewhere on the site for a patch...maybe there is one by now.
