Anyone get wierd error when starting splintercell demo?

I get this message in a window anytime I start this game.


General protection fault!

History: ResetDevice <- UD3DRenderDevice::SetRes <- UWindowsViewport::Exec


Ive tried all sorts of settings including 3 differant downloads to no avail. Anyone else ever had this problem??

Im using an abit giluro gf4mx440

I remember seeing something about this on the net the other day. Go to the SplinterCell main site and check out their forums. I am pretty sure you need to go into X:\SplinterCell\System\SplinterCell.ini , and then change the starting res to 640x480.
