I was at dinner last night when a few of us got this text:

Anyway, apparently it's old but has resurfaced in the last few days.

Never heard of it, but what is the point the perpetrators are trying to make? Are they just trying to stick it to the man and keep people from shopping at Walmart?

yeh, girl at work got it yesterday and read it to all of us.

my daughter got it last night and my dumb ass sister in law forwarded it to my wife

my roommate got one of those this morning.

I know at least two people that got it yesterday, and one that says she was verbally given the warning over the phone by an officer.
Shame that you can't just reply to texts with a link to the Snopes article.

I was a little mad at my gf last night for thinking there was even a possibility this was credible.

I wonder if Walmart recorded a statistically significant dropoff in business last night.
