Anyone get their Panasonic DVD player from Amazon yet?

I'm referring to the deal where a $50 rebate + a $50 amazon.com coupon + free shipping brought the total price to $129.

I ordered mine on Dec 10th. At the time, Amazon's site said the item was in stock and usually ships within 24 hours. As of today, it has not yet shipped and the player is now listed as out of stock.

Does this mean I am screwed? Why would amazon let me order one if they are out of stock. Ugh!

Plus is there any way to actually *call* amazon? All I can find are idiotic email links. I've tried emailing them 4 times with no response...I need a phone number.

I ordered the Toshiba SD-1600 and it took a few days, but it shipped and should be here by the end of the week (free standard shipping).

My Toshiba SD-1600 shipped as well (and has been received). No problems with all the coupons.

this is out of topic but i ordered a regular camera and their taking their dandy time shipping it out. its 24hr availability. And i had the hardest time trying to find an actual fone number on there site. thanks for the heads up. now i can call them and ask instead of waiting for email replies.

Any knows where to get the rebate form for the Toshiba DVD. I bought 2 cases of Pepsi and it does not contain the rebate form. Or if any one have extra rebate form please e-mail me.

Haven't as yet gotten my Panasonic DVD player from Amazon. I did call Amazon and spoke to a CSR and for my troubles he was willing to upgrade my shipping to next day shipping. But I got a e-mail telling me that unfortunately the item had already shipped but instead they would e-mail a $5 gift certificate. Give it a try if you haven't gotten you player.

Got my panasonic DVD player yesterday by UPS. Amazon sent me the UPS tracking code 6 days ago.

I ordered the Panasonic on November 29th as a gift for someone, it was delivered to them on December 7th. Not bad for free shipping & $100 bucks off. Felt like such a cheap-ass asking them to snail-mail me the UPC code/model # for the rebate.
