Anyone get Mario or the PS2 adapter yet?

Has anyone found Mario or the PS2 online adapter yet? I'm not sure if these came out today or just shipped today. Haven't gotten to a store yet so I'm just curious.

Mario Sunshine? Unless it got released on a Monday for some strange reason, you should be able to find it in some stores today. I don't think Best Buy gets it until tomorrow. At least, that's what their pre-order box said. Stores like Electronics Boutique should have it for sale as soon as their shipments arrive for the day.

Network adapter shipped today. Not sure how many will be in stores. EBgames.com has apparently allready sold out of it's initial order and it saying anything ordered now will be shipped middle of September. You might want to try and get out early tomorrow if you want one....they could be in great demand. And you know EB and Babbages try and get you pre-order everything, so they might not be getting as many. Really, what other industry tries to get you pre-order stuff as much as video games. Every time I'm in Babbages to pick up a game, they asked if I pre-ordered and tell me I'm lucky they still had some. Mind you, I've heard this at least 5 times over the last year on release dates. Never once I have I heard, "Sorry, we're out."

mario isn't supposed to be out until tomorrow. i'll be outside circuit city tomorrow to get it. time to use my warcraft 3 gift card.

I'm going to pick up my Mario Pre-Order from Gamestop right now. It is already in.

The guys at Best Buy say Mario is in, so I might have to go get it after class.

Mario is in, got a call from EB Games today. I preordered in full when I did the DVD trade in.

I went to my local KayBee Toy Store looking for the network adapter. I asked the woman if they had the adapters for the PS2 in, and she goes, "No, I don't think so. Do you have a Gamecube?" To this I replied yes. "Well, we did get in Mario Sunshine if you would like to purchase that." Ok, thanks but no thanks. I guess you can't blame her for trying to make a sell. It's like when I go into a restaurant and ask if they have root beer, only for them to say "No, but we do have Dr Pepper!" Apples and oranges people, apples and oranges.

Some stores have the Adapter today, but I believe it's official release date is tommorow, 8/28. I went around to a few stores in the mall today, and they said that they are only getting enough shipments for the preorders, so if you didn't preorder it, you're SOL. I went to the EB website and tried to order one, but orders placed AFTER 8/21 are scheduled to ship on 9/13

Yeah, you can get it free and wait another couple months for them to start the network. Or jump through hoops and play Halo...but then again, people have been playing Tony Hawk for awhile now on PS2.


Joking aside, Best Buy had the network adapter in their ad this week. If you call them each day, you could probably snag one from there if your local EB/Babbages are sold out.
