Was wondering how many people got it, if you like it and if it is a big upgrade from the 360 version

A couple friends of mine got it and I'm thinking about getting it but I don't know if it's worth it since madden 06 when it launched on the 360 was a mess and not much of a upgrade visually or game play wise

I have it on PS4, the replay graphics are nice but in my opinion nothing I haven't seen before, not an awesome WOW factor in graphics. I like that my QB seems to have the cadences as the QB in real life, at least.

Disclaimer: I am not happy with the games out for either PS4 or X1 at this time, but that should have been expected. I'm waiting on FF, Mass Effect, and Kingdom hearts.

Its actually pretty decent. Full featured, ever so minimally upgraded visually, and can actually do things the 360 version can not (like being able to leave a game and come back to it any time). Much better than the travesty that was the neutered 06 360 version.

The 06 version was really bad. I know I'm very impressed with NBA 2k14 graphically that game was a huge difference and I was hoping Madden would be a big difference too but I guess not

It's EA vs 2K though.

It's a solid game. Not an earth-shattering improvement over the previous generation, but certainly not an abomination like '06.

I really like it over the 360 version. I put in a lot of time on both, and prefer the Xbox One version. The engine is a lot smoother, plus the graphics are a bit better.

Decided I'd play a little Ultimate Team last night, and imported my 360 cards. My team isn't half bad now.

I think I will still stick with the single player stuff though. No reason to get cheesed by some garbage Vick bootleg every play and punt return with Reggie Bush every play for defense. =(

I don't know if there is was an update or something, but the Super DBs have returned! I made a QB last night and threw 5 picks in the first quarter before I rage quit. =(

I just grabbed this game. I am still amazed that they continue to have frame rate issues, especially considering this was only a 12 gb install on my XB1. It might be time for me to finally retire madden from my gaming rotation.

Where are you getting frame rate issues? I haven't noticed any during actual game play. Occassionally, I will get a hiccup during a replay or something, but never during actual play.

Although, I did have my QB once throw the ball backwards 70 yards (counted as a fumble too...)

Strange. I will look for it when I play next, but I haven't noticed anything. I generally use the Gameflow and audible as I see fit though.

I use a mix of Gameflow and my own play calling, and I don't think I've noticed frame rate issues. *shrug*

I plan on playing plenty today, so I'll pay more attention.
