For the life of me I can't get my ATI TVWonder to run under Win2K - its driving me insane. I am using Asus GF2 MX as the primary card with overlay enabled. Tried 12.41, 7.52, 12.90 12.40 drivers and still no go. Also latest 7.1 MMC drivers. It works fine under WINME with almost any of the drivers listed above. COuntless hours spent and still trying.

Still no go - will try drivers 6.XX and see what happens. I know this is a common problem and someone out there must have found a way to fix it. BTW tried my Radeon LE DDR - still no go. This is another ATI example of poor driver support.

Did you follow the installation instruction for the win2k drivers to the letter? I found out that if you don't your tv card won't work.
If that was done you might want to switch the tv card to another slot. If it freezes it usually means you didn't install the drivers correctly or you're having some type of irq conflict. You're still having a conflict even though it says your hardware is running fine.

Thanks for the reply - I did another clean reinstall and went over it carefully to see if I missed anything. Turns out it was the Video/Multimedia controller for the ATI TV Wonder that was not installed. Also the Matrox secondary card did not like the newer river for Win2K - works fine with the default driver. Aah well csome compromises have to be made. Now works perfectly:

Rig:
MSI K7T turbo-R
Bios 270 modded for FULL RAID
AMD 1G o/c to 1400
512 Crucial Cas 2
Asus V7100 GF2MX
Matrox G200
ATI TV Wonder
SBLive
NIC
2 20GB Quantum AS

When I first installed Win2k on here my AIW-128 would not work.. I went to google groups and found someone saying that there are new drvers for the AIW, but before you can install the new drivers you must installed
DirectX-8. then install the new drivers for the card.. it should work fine.. at least it did for me.
