I was thinking about it since I have the day off, but I figured I can make my own pancakes at home and I wouldnt have to stand in a huge line to save 50 cents. Anyone else go?

Don't have any around here but I doubt I would have stood in line for a free breakfast with so many more needy than I.
 
None around here. Wow though, I can't believe there were lines for a free breakfast worth $4.
 
I remember when some ice cream place (Baskin Robbins?) was giving away a free scoop of ice cream... wife and I decided to swing by after work and the line wrapped around the block. We turned around, came back the next day, didn't have to wait, and paid our $4 for ice cream. I think I'm at a point in my life where free ice cream/breakfast isn't worth 45 minutes of my time.

Not really. This thread is specifically about Denny's Grand Slam. It isn't a "Which eateries would you not even accept free food from?" thread.
 
the "guys" here at work went. asked me if i wanted to go, but i opted to go run an errand and get taco bell. i was back 20 min before them. they said the line was long, around one corner of the building. ridiculous.
