Anyone from the Nashville area?

I start on the 15th. It is in Brentwood in the Maryland farms area. I looked in Brentwood, Franklin and Cool Springs. I like the Cool Springs area probably the best. Anyone on here live in these areas recommend a place? I am looking for just a one bedroom in a nice area that is convenient.

May need a drinking partner also...

Hey man I'm from Knoxville too and live in Murfreesboro (near all of the places you listed). If you need a hand figuring out some stuff just shoot me a PM and I can ask around. Avoid Franklin if you can as it is just ridiculously expensive. If you don't mind a little extra drive then the Boro is by far the best bang for the buck imho.

Thanks for the reply. Cool Springs is convenient to everything, it is nice and is not far from my job. I can get a decent one bedroom for 850.00 in a very nice complex. The other places I looked at that were a little less, like 40 -50 bux less, were complete dumps. I am almost 40 and do not want to live in collegecrap...I did that already The worst part is going to be away from my family...and my home.

I will go home on the weekends.

I worked in the Cool Springs and Brentwood area for about 4 years. Great place to work and live.

You are looking in the right place. Cool Springs has built up so fast and I'm sure you can find an place to rent around there. The Franklin area is a little further out, but a really nice part of town.

What is your price range? I mean there are some nice places like this:

Another thing is to check http://www.realtracs.com

Select "search a property" and then select Williamson County (Cool Springs/Franklin).

You can then select Condo, Commerical, Rental and all sorts of other properties.

You are looking in the right place. Cool Springs has built up so fast and I'm sure you can find an place to rent around there. The Franklin area is a little further out, but a really nice part of town.

Thanks...I have looked a few of those places. Alara is nice...Wyndchase is nice also and is on the other side of the HWY. I am coming from Knoxville area (Clinton, TN)

Good deal. Sorry I wasn't of much help!

We live north of town now and I work in Downtown Nashville. Two of my co-workers live in the Brentwood area. We go out there and Cool Springs sometimes to shop. Cool Springs is a great area.

You were a help! Thanks again. I almost got a job in downtown...I do like the Cool Springs and Brentwood area....I wont miss my nice 3400 sq ft home as much being in a nicer area. My wife and I ate at Pei Wei last night in Brentwood...very tasty

Pei Wei is great. Just in case you missed the connection, it is basically a scaled down version of P.F. Chang's. You'll have the real thing near you if you decide to live in the Cool Springs area too!
