I got to PSU. In the dining commons you can get all the creamery ice cream you want for free! Its nice on hot days. But honestly, I don't even eat ice cream that much so when I do the creamery ice cream is a treat. All the flavors are unbelievable. And if you are going home and want to take some with you, they will put it in a big envelope with dry ice so it'll last 24 hours without a freezer. Sweet.

EDIT: The creamery is on Curtin and Shortlidge at the Penn State University Park campus. RIght near the AgSci buildings, across the street from the math dept. THey are thinking about moving it though.

I wish I could make it to Vancouver. Actually, I wish that I could get out of State College for a couple days, but alas I have bills to pay so I must work all the time.

I haven't had it, but everyone raves about it. Perhaps next time....I have had D.P. Dough and Monkey Boyz, though. Is a Monkey Boy supposed to be a 2-man job? B/c last time I was at PSU me, my gf, and my bro each had one.....and we were ripped.

I live 30 minutes from State College, and yes, the Creamery is good, but it is certainly not worth a road trip from Vancouver unless you have other business here. And being a local, I can't imagine what else you would want to do around here.

Personally I prefer the ice cream from Gardeners.

I graduated from Penn State in 2002. I must admit that the Creamery ice cream is really good, but incredibly fattening. At one time they were thinking about selling it in grocery stores, but couldn't due to the fat content. The Creamery is located behind the Ag Sci building in between East and North Halls. Also, it will be moving soon. They are going to move it closer to East halls. With all of the renovation and new contruction plans, a lot of things are going to be moving. At the end of the expansion, East halls will be located in the center of campus. Its pretty amazing to see how much has changed and I've only been out of school for a year.

Also I do belive that you can order the ice cream on the internet somehow. It is expensive though because they ship it packed in dry ice. I don't remember the link to it though. Any help?
