gidday, this more query than anything else. i'm a kiwi (new zealander) living in the uk and am about to visit LA for a week. Normally i would buy stuff over the web, but having an NZ credit card, i can't use it to buy stuff online in the US. Just wondering if there any decent discount stores in the LA area that i can buy stuff over the counter with cold hard cash. I'm after an XP 1800, Hercules Fortissimo II and a Gainward GF3 ti200 128mb golden sample. Still gotta be cheaper than the UK. Cheers

Just get the phone book and look at the yellow pages. There should be a bunch of them, depending where you're going to be in LA.

Diamond Bar / North LA i think. Got cuzzies to drive me round so location ain't a prob. Any shops i should avoid ie CompUsa? otherwise will stick to the yellowpages
