uhhh...1 bedroom 600 sq ft?
Yup. Something small for now. My wife is heading down first until I fix-up and sell our house in KC. Then we will be looking at houses after being there for a bit.

Oh, let us know when you get settled in. I'll buy ya a
As for non-texmex or non-bbq, I  Mr. Catfish, both locations. I believe the area around St. Johns and IH-35 had some prostitution issues last year.Originally posted by: ElFenix
i would hardly consider manor, elgin, pflugerville, round rock, liberty hill, buda, cedar park, etc, as 'austin.'
but yes, the area from I35 east to 183 isn't the nicest part of town. but it isn't all that bad for a 'bad part of town.' there is some damn good tex mex and barbecue to be found over there.
I live in So Cal, and there's no way I would live in that Republican-filled conservative state.

I live in East Austin and it is the nicest place I have ever lived in Austin. I have a large house and my neighborhood kicks ass.

Scubasteve: Here in KC the "bad" areas kind of run in patches. There are several places where ghetto will be right next to really nice neighborhoods. Lots of places where good vs bad is a block for block basis (excluding the suburbs which is all bad).
Is east Austin anything like this?
