Anyone found benchmarks of an overclocked Core 2 duo?

Just interested in finding out what a system with a over clocked Core 2 can do!

I'll probably be buying a C2D 6800 with 2GB's DDR2-800Mhz and over clock it to around 3.5Ghz, 3.6Ghz

At the moment we have a 939 Athlon X2 4400+ 2Gb's DDR-400Mhz Calculating an Agi32 project in around 3 days.

I'm just wondering how fast a 3.5Ghz++ Core 2 could do the Calc.

AGi32 is a Lighting distribution program, it also creates a 3D rendered image of the lighting exposure on surfaces.
Lighting up a complex room can take days and the app is only single threaded.

If an A64X2 4400+ 1MB cache does it in 3 days it would be interesting to see how many hours an overclocked or stock CD2 6800/6600 can nock off

That is a very specialized application. You can do is e-mail the websites, like Anand. Or you can run over to www.xtremesystems.org and ask for a demo Conroe bench (something around 10-20 min; no one is going to run a 3day benchmark) of that software, if it is easy to obtain.

Dang that sounds like some heavy cpu usuage. That would be a killer stablity test would it not?

Here is the page from Anandtech's article on the C2D Link

It looks like they got theirs up to 4GHz on air and ran a 1M superPI of 12.781s. I don't know if that helps you out any, but I am pretty sure that if you overclock your C2D you will crush your X2's record ;) .

Look over at the Xtreme Forums. They are hitting 3.6 to 4.0 on air, and 5GHz on LN2. I don't think all of them are review samples either. Maybe someone could run a benchmark on the program you're interested in.....
