Ya but even in denmark capital gains gets a free ride. Not only that you have tones of regressive taxes (VAT, Sales, alcohol/tobacco consumption, gas, propety, utilities) all hit lower wage earners dispropotionatly to income.

Yes, it's still nicer to a good wage, but the difference is that we have very few really poor people. The diffrenece between top and bottom is smaller but it is still there......we're not communists after all
