Coming back to Earth today. Here's the schedule, weather permitting.

Crew wakeup: 7:40 a.m. EDT
Dragon trunk separation: 1:51 p.m. EDT
Deorbit burn: 1:56 p.m. EDT
Nosecone closes: 2:11 p.m. EDT
Reentry begins: 2:36 p.m. EDT
Main parachutes deploy: 2:45 p.m. EDT
Splashdown: 2:48 p.m. EDT

Now that we've had NASA astronauts go to space in a private spacecraft, how long until SpaceX starts launching their own home-grown/trained astronauts into space onboard their own rockets? It's inevitable now.

I think we will see space tourism become a thing in our life times. It will be very expensive, but still somewhat within reach. Like going on a super fancy high end cruise or those crazy luxerious Emirates airlines. Basically a millionaire's club thing, but yet still not completely out of reach. If you get the Starlink premium package you could even earn "Spacemiles(TM)" points towards a trip. 😛

Awesome to have US back in the space travel business again thanks to SpaceX.

Side note - I wish the reentry method is something newer than the old school Apollo style parachute splashdown after the space shuttle glide landing on runway. Here's looking forward to Starship in the next couple years.
