Just wondering, I have a couple of qs...

How much did Rossi sign for with Yamaha?

Do you think there is a possibilty that any of those four strokes will make it down to the street in some (underpowered) iteration (Id totally shell for a YZR-M1 replica).

Can anyone provide me a link for the comparison across the GP bikes?

What the f*()&@#(* does Honda do to win all the time? (bastards must have money).

BTW, Im totally team blue, I hope Rossi cleans up on the Yam.

Hell yeah.....

Rossi signed for @12 million/year and although he said he would never ride for tobacco sponsor I guess the deal was sweet enough that he did it.
You can go buy a sweet ducati or yamaha right now.

Honda owns motorcycle engines. I mean these guys will likely never fall from the top spot. Why? Youre right $$$$

Rossis first test a couple of weeks ago he already had the Yamaha up to matching times with the Hondas and Ducatis after day 3 of testing. Of course the Honda times represent last years machine. Dont think for a second that after Honda lost Rossi that they stopped development, they know and have thrown even more money at development as they cannot let him beat them on a Yamaha especially in his first year........

Its gonna be a great season.........:D:beer:

Its no fun for him to win almost everything everytime everywhere. He needed a challenge so he took the Yamaha ride. Most have called him crazy, really really fcuking crazy.:D

His contract with Honda was so awesome that he got parts for his bikes that no other Honda riders could even get close to. Thats a sweet deal. So he basically had more power and handling than anyone else.:)

I have to admit, I like the bikes way more than the riders, but its hard to argue against Rossi's talents. I thought the Yamaha was the best bike, based on what Ive read (I havent ridden them myself..). Though the Ducati came out of (relatively) nowhere to kick ass last year.

The reason I'd want a replica bike is only because they look so cool, I must have one. Id slap the Red Bull stickers on myself.

Lastly, I cant believe that riders salaries have skyrocketed to 12mil. How much was Foggy making in his Ducati heyday?

Man I would be afraid to ride of those GP bikes. Id bet Foggy never made more than a couple million total in a year including sponsor $$

I read the other day that Ducatis MotoGP budget for this year is approaching $50 million!!

Just imagine what Hondas is:Q

well, no way theyd sell a GP bike in race kit.

You know, do the emissions thing, put a restrictor in, a (fugly) headlight and youre good to go. Of course, this means that you have to do the work to strip it all off later, but its a replica racer!

Wasnt the entire point of switching to 4 strokes to include development for traditional roadbikes? Why dont they homologate these things like in SBK?

Rossi is so overpaid..., I hate that cocky SOB. But if he wins on the Yam, Ill deal.
