Anyone find 'Ali G' funny?

His Borat character is funny but I don't care for the rest. I'd advise you to avoid his movie at all cost...its awful.

What aspect of his humor is funny? Is it the interviewing of straight faced people who think he's serious?

Don't know about 'Ali G', but watched "Dummy" tonite on DVD and it was quite different and also very funny.

His show is different. No where else can you see high ranking diplomats and politicians get asked mind-numbingly stupid questions. It's fun to see how they handle it. I remember the episode with Ralph Nader and in particular.

The British 'cockney' accent is funny as hell, making him sound unpolished and makes it funnier. A British interview would be held by someone with a Roger Moore type accent.. lol

I was born in England and used to talk like that, so i can relate to it more.
