Anyone fill all PCI and AGP slots on EPOX 8KHA+ and have problems (IRQ's) under WIN2K or WINXP Pro?

Title says it all... I'm thinking of getting a Promise 100TX2 card and having 2 NICs and 1 Audigy Platinum and ASUS GF3 Ti200 deluxe and USR 56K modem and possibly an ATI-TV Wonder card or ASUS TV Box (leaving 1 PCI slot open) would this present a problem? I know WIN2K handles IRQ sharing but this would be an insane amount of IRQ sharing so i have to ask if this has been done or would be a problem. Might be (?) better to go with the TV Box since it would be 1 less IRQ/PCI slot used and would put to use the great software provided by ASUs deluxe cards for the same means as the ATI-TV wonder card (one with stereo sound).

I have one nic, modem, video card (agp), SOUND BLASTER LIVE (IRQ DEVIL), realmagic dvd decoder, ati tv wonder, and a viper v330 (for dual display). This is on my Abit KT7 Raid. I also have the raid controller activated (more sharing). I had to disable ACPI to get the IRQ conflicts to go away. You might want to think about disabling it, solved all my problems.

Slot 1 is quite close to the AGP on this board. If your graphics card has a fan or high H/S, you can't use it.

I have an SB Live 5.1, 3 Com NIC and AGP vid card and they are all sharing IRQ 11 in windows. I am going to switch the ACPI off when I get home to see if that helps. I even disables the 2nd serial port and that didnt free IRQ 11 at all.

Sounds like I have no choice due to PCI slot space constraints but to limit myself to using only 5 and giving some space to my ASUS GF3Ti200 and using an ASUS TV BOX instead of an ATI TV Wonder card... I guess I can try installing the cards into the motherboard even though I don't have the case yet (only part that is missing) just to see for myself... Thanks for the heads up

Yes sometimes I do that when I move (school and back or to new job in the near future) or when teh cable modem ISP goes down. Last time I tried storing my USR non winmodem in a static bag and boxed up until needed, I found that it went bad on me just sitting there for a few months. Same thing happenend to 3 NIC cards when I used to swap them out of computer for temporarily moving home and using modem/dial-up. Just had a lot of bad luck continually swapping networking adapters/cards and it can get expensive when you own some of the 3com products. Since I left my 2 NICs and 1 winmodem (didn't want to waste more money again on non winmodem) in for the last two years I haven't had to open the case (except for memory and hard drive upgrade once each) and I haven't lost the functionality of a part yet... maybe its caused by moving the computer only in the dry winter months where static is more readily available due to less humidity... I don't know but I believe I took the proper precautions for storing the cards that I lost (using and not crushing original packaging/static bags/etc.).
