Anyone feel alienated by the Olympic scandals?

I can't bring myself to watch the Winter Olympics ever since the news broke about all of the scandals involving the selection of the host city. I guess this bothered me the most because the olympic committee can destroy and athlete's elegibility or strip him/her of their medal(s) due to a variety of reasons, while the city selection committee goes off and gets millions in illegal cash and favors. To hell with the games, I'll watch ESPN instead!

No.............it's no different than it has been for a LONG time............only difference is, the world at large now knows about it...............😉

Did you watch other Olympics? They did the exact same thing as SLC except didn't get caught. I don't see why it matters in the least, the athletes are there to compete does it really matter that SLOC bribed people to get it in SLC?

Personally, I think the fact that I know all about the drug testing and yet I can't name a single athlete says a lot. I only know what the media tells me, and they aren't giving me any incentive to be interested.

Of course, the last Olympic Games that I remember having any interest in was during the boycott.
