No you should pick an LS1/T56 and drop it into a 240. Much more fun.

Nobody should drive a civic.

I'd only be capable of basice bolt on or engine mods. I'm not skilled at fabricating stuff.

Probably quite a bit, that's a WS6.

I know that much. I guess their prices aren't depreciating like typical GM cars do after a few years.

They're quite rare, & that one looks to be exceptional.

The WS6 package has been available as a factory option on them since '97 IIRC...

I wouldn't call them "rare"..

I think you are thinking of the 30th anniversary edition...

Damn that's rare. $25,000+++ easy, probably more. Good luck finding one like that again. Not many were built with that color in '02 and it's a 6 speed!

WS6 for the TA has been around a lot longer than that. I know you could get that option as far back as 1978.

At these prices, swapping an LS1 into my Miata would be cheaper.

Won't fit.

I've seen a few LS1 miata swaps fail due to the size of the engine. Whatever they are doing to get it to fit he won't be doing.
Most switch to ford engines.

Edit: Again everything I've ever read or seen says it won't fit (yes I know you can make anything fit). There isn't a lot of info on that site to say it is a proper/ safe/ reliable swap.
Just saying you got an LS1 in a Miata isn't enough.

Links to more succesful swaps?
