Seconds OnePlus One comes in today (always buy your electronics on a CC that has a good warranty program, Amex replaced it outright), fingers crossed for one that is as nice as my first one. I have an ozrly screen protector, how much extra size do the TPU cases add to the rest?

they replaced it? Can you explain?

Yea I'd love to know how you got Amex to replace it.
Unless the phone was a total dud and you took advantage of their extended warranty.

Actually nvm.. it's probably the purchase protection. Discover offers 90 day purchase protection too for upto $500 bucks. I purchased mine back 8/27th and mine got delivered early sept so i'm still within the purchase protection.

I picked them up off of eBay. They do not have NFC (I'll post some more pics tonight) and no buttons (power and volume).

I did not try taking the buttons off my original yet as I want to see if I can someone that did it before.

The cover comes off easily. Just pop the SIM card holder out and start at that point with your fingernail and just slide it around the entire length. There are a ton of very small connectors but they pop easily and you can hear each one unlatch.

I really don't see a reason they did not go forward with the covers as well as a removable battery like the OPPO Find 7. I guess they wanted to give people a reason to buy the Find 7 other than just the QHD screen.

Item #181559987186

Came faster than I expected.

Paid on 10/18 arrived today.

I noticed they extended the preorder because their site was having issues this time. I logged in about 15 minutes before it ended for the heck of it and I had no issues in pre-ordering.

Honestly the OPO is just going to remain my backup phone at this point. There were a few things that bugged me and several things newer phones do better, but by far the biggest thing for me was the screen sensitivity issues of the OPO.

The Note 4 does exactly what I want it to do. No scrolls turning into clicks, no mis-reading multi-touches to zoom in/out, no missed touches. The newest OPO firmware helped quite a bit (it was borderline unusable initially) but it's this constant minor annoyance.

I'm currently waiting to order the nexus 6. I'm excited to compare the feel of it vs the opo. Later on an opo as a back up would be a great idea.

My daughter is on the hunt for a OPO now. Is anyone interested in selling one to her, I'd be the "broker" and my heatware evals are linked in my signature.

Well I didn't get a nexus 6. Sold out in one page refresh. Google reps have no idea what happened they say their order inventory sheet is blank.

Trouble with the One; is that it very hard to buy it! Other then that it a fine phone! You have to spend a lot of time trying to get in on the offers or find someone who owns an One and be willing to refer you! Many that I know who use an One are strangers; so I try asking for an referral. Many want monetary compensation for the referral! LOL!
