More than likely its a iphone 6 64GB that I will get - will know soon enough. (6+ is an option but last I heard they were backordered through work)

My Director put the request in. I told him I'd prefer the 6+ but I need it for next week so I will get whatever they can send me the fastest.

I'm not going to keep 2 devices around. I don't want to chance putting a work sim in my Android device either when we only have iphones.

Just got my shipping notification - I am getting a 5s 64GB as iphone 6's are out of stock/back ordered currently.

Oh well, free phone is a free phone.

Nope I'm still on Verizon. The fcc slapped them. If I do want a new phone and to stay in Verizon they don't have anything I want now anyway.

The words on the street is that FCC intimidated Verizon, but some are believing it has more to do with competitive pricing/promotion from ATT and T-Mobile.

The newest update 38R has improved my touchscreen issues by quite a bit. I still feel like it's not as sensitive as my Note 3, but it's no longer a daily irritant.

I'll have to see if it also solved my re-connected to network issues.

I've got two more invites yesterday randomly. I think they have a little less than 24hrs. I'm tempted to use one to see if I get one with a better screen.

But I just don't want to go through the return hassle again. I'll be posting them here if I decide not to use them when I get to a pc.

I just read a review about this One Plus and the specs look to be very good. I haven't read all the 61+ pages on this thread, but wanted to know what you guys thought about this phone (good/bad/ugly etc...)???

When you buy it from One Plus, do you have to buy it outright (no payment plan)?

I was considering getting the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the LG G3, but now the One Plus looks like a great phone......

Its pay outright - using paypal.

I think its an excellent phone for the price.

You can use PayPal. I have it linked to my card and bank account and bill me later so paypal does have a payment plan if you want. But if you need to set it up you may need to wait a few days before ordering.

Be aware that the one plus phones may have a yellow band at the bottom of the screen due to the light sources being at the bottom. Mine was bad and no uv or sunlight treatment worked for me so I returned it.

Others say they do not notice it but personally I can't have a phone like that. For the specs it's a very good phone compared to what is out now. If the screen had been flawless I would have kept it and switched from Verizon.

Also, very little to no customer support. It's a Chinese startup so there is risk but I'm sure you are aware of that.

A friend send me his invite and I ordered mine. Sandstone Black, 64GB. Crazy low price (2500 DKK). Let's see how it is :)

Thanks for the detailed reply SZE.

I wonder if a lot of people had that issue wth the yellow band or if it was just a few with factory screw ups??

I hesitate a bit to promote anything Made in China, but this is good deal. On the other hand, I do like the fact that I can add a (monthly) phone price to my T-Mobile bill (not buying it outright) and if I wanted to upgrade down the line, it's simple to transfer the money paid towards a newer phone.

It's a pretty nice device, but QC issues coupled with having to send the damn thing out of the country make it an iffy proposition.

At this point I don't think it's worth the extra cost over a Note 3 from Swappa.

So I dunno why I got two emails saying I received two other invites because when I checked my account they aren't there.

I had to claim invite before it shows up in my account.

Yea looks like I have to do that too. But if I claim it it's only useable for me. I could order another one but dealing with Cs to return it for yellow was such a pain.

Used the invite to get one for my wife but I will get one for me too as well. I will take the invite if anyone still has one.
