Anyone excited for OnePlus?

I unlocked the bootloader and it wiped my phone, I'm at factory default with 4.4.4 30O, when I get it all set up again I'll test my audio to see if the problem persists. If it does, I'll install CWM and do a clean flash of the latest official CM11S ROM (after the next incremental is released) to see if that clears up my audio issues.
Several hours of audio playback later I have not seen the issue I was having before with my OPO. So this is promising, maybe I created the problem somehow? Or maybe a file got jacked in the flash and was fixed during the wipe?

I'll test my battery again in a few days.

I don't have any reference to earlier builds but having had my phone since Thursday, one of the biggest surprises is that the battery drains as fast as it does. Most of the time I've been at home on wifi checking the occasional email, Facebook, text. Browsing is all on the laptop...and it just keeps ticking down. I was out all Saturday but the phone wasn't on me from 8AM-6PM so I just put it in airplane mode.
Are you on 30O?

Anyone trying the CM11S Nightlies? I run those on my nexus 4 and sometimes they are a bit buggy/causes reboots for the most part run fine. It is nice to get the latest patches and updates immediately. That might help with some of these various problems..... I might do that tonight.
CM11 not CM11S nightlies.

As for reboots or instability, there is a chance you could get into an unstable situation, but I've had reboots on 25R before, and I still have reboots on CM11. I don't think one is worse than the other. However, I'd probably have to try 30O to see how stable that is.

As for your comment about the N4, I ran CM nightlies on my Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. Maybe 1 or 2 days out of the year there will be a bad patch where if you happen to flash every nightly you'll run into those bad reboot bugs. There was likely some issues during the whole CAF commit era, but even then I found CM to be very stable in general.

Going from under 1% to 1.5% is at least a 50% consumption rate increase. That's substantial.
Yes there is a significant difference in battery consumption but overall compared to other phones its not bad. This is like someone complaining about the Tesla base model having a 5.9 sec 0-60 time versus the P85's 4 second. 50% difference sure, but both are fast as hell. I just don't think the problem is as bad as some blogs made it out to be and I'd bet it was unnoticeable for most. Some people just claim they have problems all the time anyway, and your average XDA complainer can be tricked via placebo effect anyday.

I am having major touchscreen problems now, half the time the phone will not respond to touch commands and then it will work ok for awhile. Looks like this is a known issue... maybe some sort of bad touchscreen driver...

Putting in a RMA now, this makes the phone unusable... 🙁

DLeRium: just saw your post. are you referring to my issue? Will that come in a nightly soon?

They will tell you to flash original software back on it.

I'm not really certain about your issue but I think its to address this one: https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/BACON-55

Which is in regards to not being able to type fast. The JIRA got really cluttered as the CM admins merged some grounding issue in, so I'm a bit confused if its all related. Then there are people talking about ghost swipes and everything.

The nightly's gonna build in the next few hours. I'll be able to try it before I go to sleep, but as for the OTA for this fix? I don't know. If this commit solves the touchscreen problem, I'm pretty sure they'd try to deploy in the next week or two?

Yeah. My battery isn't draining to 0% but even just sitting on my couch in the morning going through a few texts and fb posts, on and off, I'll be at 90% an hour later. It's still new, so we'll see how it goes.

Where is the setting that lets me make the phone do certain things when it connects to the home wifi network? (Without having to use IFTTT)

Settings > Profiles?

It's pretty basic though in terms of tasks. There's Bluetooth and Wifi triggers there in each profile if you hit the location pin icon at the bottom.

BTW Bacon Nightly build started 31 minutes ago.

Edit: 6:53 PM PDT: I'm downloading right now. Build has been uploaded.
Edit: 7:00 PM PDT: File copied
Edit: 7:04 PM PDT: Rebooting into Recovery.
Edit: 7:12 PM PDT: Finally done. I want to say this fix works somewhat. I kinda got used to the bugged state, but I'm pretty sure its better now. My final test is to go home and play with my Nexus 5 to compare the typing.
Edit: 7:18 PM PDT: The more I play with it the more I can still trigger the bug...

Thanks...I've been interested in IFTTT and NFC tags but this will be a good start.

Seems like the latest nightly fixed my crippling touchscreen issue for the most part.... It did freeze once in TWRP (think the TWRP build is using the old driver) but otherwise is pretty good. The touchscreen still seems to miss touches sometimes... annoying... You have to be a bit "aggressive" with touch on this phone...

I would recommend everyone switch to CM nightlies... get those latest fixes out immediately. With my N4 I would update the nightlies weekly once a pretty stable build was achieved.

Ok, so my Podcast Republic usage pattern at work was with muted volume so as to not project throughout the entire building and no issue was noted. When I went to drive to work this morning, I had my volume set to maximum beforehand. When I started the podcast I was listening to last night, I heard an instant of very loud playback and then the volume was MUCH reduced automatically. I clicked play again and same thing happened. I then reduced the volume by one press of the volume rocker and hit play and the correct volume level was produced during playback. I could then hit the volume rocker up to max and the volume stayed as loud as it was supposed to be.

This is repeatable. Now I need to test this behavior with other apps such as Poweramp and Google Play Music All Access.

Has anyone else noticed similar behavior?

To follow up my previous comment, I use the same app (Podcast Republic) on my Moto X and my Galaxy S Relay with CM11 M8 and it does not have the issue on them that it does on my OPO. This only occurs on my OPO.

seems like my touchscreen is back to where it was before.... it will sometimes miss a touch or two.. not sure if i should keep the phone or not... hmm

Yesterday my OPO would not pick up a signal until I finally rebooted it. Had a flood of messages come in, apparently my sis-in-law got into a car accident and was taken to the hospital. She's okay, but I really don't like when my phones do this. Last time I had this problem was with the Galaxy S3, so experiencing it again in 2014 is a bit annoying...

Glad to hear she's ok. Scary.

Back to the phone, which ROM are you running?
