That is a decent comparison. It doesn't look as big as the note three. Honestly after my droid DNA it was tough going to the htc one where the screen is smaller. But I got used to it fairly shortly. Only thing that looks odd are the UI graphics for the icons and such, but I bet I could edit my own once I pull the source off the phone.

CM11 has a theme engine now. Even the old CMs had a basic them engine for some time. Hexo is the name of the theme for the OnePlus One. You can easily revert back to standard Holo or another nice theme from the play store.

I was also going to ask him haha but I thought once it's claimed its done.

That's the problem, if I'd thought of it on Saturday I'd have just posted the invite and let it go. But now that it's claimed in my name, I don't think it's worth my time or effort to sell it.

NIB units are already going as low as $405 on Swappa; you add shipping on to my purchase price, take Swappa and Paypal fees off the sale price, I'm not going to buy and resell the thing just to make $10.

Swappa fee for selling is $10. But I haven't sold on Swappa only bought and I believe the buyer pays the $10. At one point I was negotiating with a seller on price and they were saying they could not lower it because of the Swappa fee but the staff mentioned buyer pays that. I know eBay takes PayPal fees but not sure how Swappa deals with PayPal payments.

People are placing models in there for 64gb for about $430+ but I have not seen if anyone sold one.

The buyer pays, yes, but it comes out of the sale price. It'd still be $10 off my intake.

I don't know what the OPO shipping cost is, but I can't imagine it's any less than $10, which puts my purchase price at $360. The Swappa sale that recently went for $405, people were already trying to get the guy down around $390 so there's no guarantee I'd even get $405. $10 off of that for Swappa fees, Paypal fee has to be at least $12 or 15 more, that's already down to only making $20. Then there's the cost to ship it to the buyer. Anything under $410 on Swappa and I could easily lose money on it.

Yea PayPal takes a fee. When I sold my DNA on eBay the PayPal fee was $5. The freaking eBay fee was $15. My sale price was $155. I think I paid $5-7 for a priority flat rate box. At that point the phone was becoming hard to sell considering you could use it on Verizon, att, and T-Mobile. I had waited too long.

I had 24 hours to claim the invite and 24 hours to purchase.

I was given an invite from a random person on here within hours of asking if anyone had one. Greatly appreciated as I really wasn't expecting anything.

Sold my S4 Google Plus Edition phone today for $340.00 in person.

FOR ANYONE IN CANADA INTERESTED:

I paid $376.00 USD Shipped for the 64GB Model. The only option for shipping was DHL Express for $27.99 USD. Phone shipped the next day and is only going to take 2 days to arrive to the East Coast. (My delivery date is tomorrow)

You can check online on DHL.ca using your Waybill # the amount of fees your going to pay to get it across the boarder, since its not included in the shipping. (Unlike Google, which sucks. Google is cheaper shipping and includes everything). Also, DHL charges on every package I find. (Where as USPS is about 1 out of 4 I find get actually hit with fees) The HST + Brokerage fee was $57.65 to NB. I paid it on DHLs website using Paypal so I don't have to pay anything when it arrives since they only take cash.

$376 USD turned into $416.68 Canadian Shipped. + $57.65 = $474.33

It costs about $475 to get this phone in Canada, which was exactly as expected.

Quite a bit more expensive here, but as I look online, the cheapest used Note 3 I can buy right now locally is $450.00. (Asking prices).

Most recent order for the US (Jul 19). Keep in mind to subtract that green case I ordered :p

OnePlus One Sandstone Black 64 GB 0101020602 1 $349.00
Charger US 0201000401 1 $0.00
Protective Case (Green) 0208000205 1 $10.99
Subtotal $359.99
Shipping & Handling $14.34
Grand Total
$374.33

This is interestingly different from the first batch I got (June 7th order):

Item Sku Qty Subtotal
OnePlus Screen Protector 0207040700 1 $4.99
OnePlus One Sandstone Black 64 GB 0101020301 1 $349.00
Charger US 0201000401 1 $0.00
Subtotal $353.99
Shipping & Handling $8.99
Grand Total $362.98

For the early order, we got an option of regular ($4.99??) or expedited ($8.99). I of course chose the latter. Those orders came straight from Hong Kong. My order shipped Thursday evening (Friday HK Time) and arrived Monday.

The later July order shipped directly from Rosemead, CA.

Edit: WTF the SKUs changed?

Took delivery today. Screen on the bottom is a little more yellow than I'd like but I'll just bake it in UV light

That sucks. I'll report on mine tomorrow. I'll probably just try leaving it in sunlight for a while if mine is the same.

This is probably going to be my keeper phone for a while. I've bounced around a ton in the last year, and this phone looks like everything I want in a phone at the right price. I feel like keeping a phone for a year or two and this hardware and ROM support it will get will keep me interested. I tried the AMOLED again but its not for me. IPS all the way. I've given it a go twice now. /Rant. Back to 1+1, I dont call much, and when I do, I tend to use headphones, so the volume thing isn't much of an issue to me.

Honestly~ the slight yellowing towards the bottom doesn't bother me. The only time that i'll really notice is when I read emails or what not. Even then ~ I don't mind the contrast :p.

Supposedly it goes away by itself with use, but UV light will be worth a shot incase I decide to flip and get a different phone.

One more new one on the way tomorrow or the day after :p

Did they say if they are working on a fix for the low audio ? I feel like that's the only drawback. I've ran several roms before where I've experienced this and it was pretty frustersting.

I did a speakerphone call today with my mom earlier in the day and the sound was clear and loud. it wasn't note 3 loud, but loud enough to be heard easily.

Yea I meant for non speaker phone. Sometimes it can be fixed with a new radio or some tweaking in the Rom. I'm sure they will address it software wise.

I read OnePlus has acknowledged the lower than average volume for the ear volume. Claim a future software update will improve it.

eBay fees are roughly 10% of the final sale price which includes the shipping amount.

Paypal fees are roughly 3%.

Anything you sell of $250 or over requires signature confirmation which adds $2 and some change if you use Priority.

Shipping a $400 phone via Priority with insurance and Signature Confirmation can easily get into the $15 range.

At the current prices I don't see the point in buying the OnePlus to flip it.

I am really enjoying mine. Sold my Nexus 5 and Note 3 after using it for a week.

The Nexus 5 is the phone that is feeling the price pinch more than any other. It's hard to justify the cost of a used 32gb Nexus when you can get the OnePlus let alone if you are buying them new.

I got my phone yesterday, love it. If there is a yellow tint at the bottom it is so faint that I have a hard time perceiving it. Volumes are loud in every use case so far: speakerphone phone calls, earpiece phone calls, podcast playback using speaker, and YouTube playback using speaker.

When I logged into my Google account almost all the apps I wanted autoinstalled. I had a saved Nova Launcher backup on my Google Drive and I restored that so the vast majority of my UI settings were made for me automatically. This was almost as easy as setting up a new iPhone from an iCloud backup. Impressed.

The phone itself is gorgeous, I am very pleased with my purchase so far. My wife now wants a OPO, she also will be coming from a custom Moto X. :)

Nice~ i'm running on it too~ the biggest pain in the ass was setting up the home screen with the Apps I wanted. Is there a way to do this with google? With icloud everything goes back to where it is when you back it up.

Have Google backup and save your apps. Download nova launcher and set up your interface. Save the nova launcher backup file to Google or drop box. When your oneplus arrives Google will pull all your apps. All you need to do is download nova launcher and restore the backup file.

Here are some pics of my new phone arrived today. Happy to report I have no yellow banding issues! Popped SIM in, connected to Fido in Canada without issue. Initial thoughts are man I love IPS Screens. (Coming from a S4 GPE, I hated AMOLED). Screen is very clear and bright. Pops out at you. Build quality is great. Phone is super fast. Love the back texture of the phone. (I always order the cheap "sandpaper" cases like this off ebay). First few pictures with camera look as good to me as they did with my S4. So far, very happy with the phone.

https://onedrive.live.com/redir?res...38&authkey=!AKZfjlA_Hyv8wc8&ithint=folder,JPG

Edit: I just saw the banding for the first time haha. In the Play Store browsing my apps. Funny how I looked for it before and then boom. I cranked the brightness up and it became viewable.

Mine isn't bad. Its there though.
