Ships out pretty fast. I ordered on a Friday night so nothing over the weekend and I should've received the package Wednesday afternoon but I wasn't home. 2-day shipping from CA.

Ouch. My screen has no yellow whatsoever, even a slight band would give me some irritation. Here's how OCD I am about my phone:

I got an Orzly ballistic glass screen protector for my OPO and installed it poorly - left to right - which resulted in two small bubbles somehow. I gently lifted the glass and re-applied it. No bubbles the second time, but in the corner where I lifted the glass there was a moon shaped discoloration. I couldn't get it to clear up so I ripped it off and threw it away. Another on order now. 😱
You sound like me in terms of OCD. I'm surprised you went for the reapply. I'd be too scared to get dust underneath it.

I do all my applications in the cleanroom now in one of our buildings where we only have single shift. So after 2pm I can waltz in there and setup my screen protector application station.

As for the touchscreen issues I'm getting pretty peeved now. I'm constantly retyping stuff over and over again. I really have to pick up gesture typing to avoid those errors.

My new complaint is the vibration motor sucks. I think each vibrate is "shorter" in pulse compared to the N5, so its a shorter but more firm vibrate, but I believe for lower intensity vibrates like when you expand a notification or bring out PIE controls via Gravitybox, or unlock the phone, those vibrates are very dull. Seems like the vibration motor doesn't scale well with intensity? Either way, I think that also contributes to a terrible typing experience. I've never found the N4 or N5 to have a good vibration motor, but when I pick up my gf's GS3 or GS5, the sharp vibrate haptic feedback really works well for typing. I think it's why I still like my GS2 and Nexus S and can type remarkably accurate on those devices. Samsung seems to have the vibration motor down. Anyway, as a result I think this compounds the effect of the bad touchscreen which results in a horrendous typing experience.

Vibration does suck on the OPO. The G3 has a nice vibrate, you can actually feel it, whereas with the OPO you hear it more than you feel it.

Sold my OPO last night. A nice phone, but CM was underwhelming and much too buggy for me. Now I am hoarding cash until I see what the Note 4 offers.

I never really noticed the vibration motor issue, I always turn off haptic feedback and vibrations due to notifications. Saves on battery I was told a while back so I just keep doing it and am now used to not using it.

Oh and I installed this guy yesterday. So far I love it. I think with an Orzly screen protector I'll have found my accessory kit going forward.

The phone was $300/350. There is a lot of belly aching for a phone that saved you around $300 to something comparable. I'd rather keep my bad ass one+ (save $300) instead of a Note3/4. Just sayin 😛

Agreed for the most part. at least the battery life is reasonable compared to the nexus 4. I really wonder what the nexus 6 offer.

I'm in CA too. I just checked and the status is "processing". Hopefully soon? I'd like to receive it by Fri if possible.

This was supposed to be a reply to this:
I wonder how long it will be before I get shareable invites. I ordered the phone back at the end of July. I did send it back for refund but I don't know if that may have anything to do with the invites.

From the OnePlus Announcement forums:
Many of you who have already received invites have been asking when you’ll receive invites to share. Here’s an update: shareable invites will slowly begin to roll out next Monday (7/21). The invites will be distributed in chronological order to customers who have purchased the phone already, starting with the very first person who received an invite from us, and onward.

You are probably right, but in this forum we've had one person get one that he felt was insufferable. Everyone else has received a unit with little to no yellow banding. At $350 I'd be willing to take the gamble again.

On a separate note, I've resolved one of my issues. It seems AudioFX and Poweramp were fighting each other causing the volume fluctuations during mp3 playback. I turned off the effects settings in Poweramp and kept them in effect in AudioFX and it's all good now. I do still have the issue where the volume of podcasts on resumption of playback is lower than it needs to be. If I stop and restart the playback it's fine. I can deal with that but do hope they'll fix it soon (whether they are the devs of Podcast Republic or the devs at CM).

One guy on xda ordered 4 of them and they all had it, with the last one being the worst.

Can you post pics? I want to see what your "8-9" rating phone is.

I have seen 3 OPO's now.

All of them are so minimal most people would never notice it unless being told it was there.

I'll try to capture mine tonight to show you.

Yea I had one. I sent it back for a refund because no amount of sun or uv helped my screen. It really was pretty annoying and distracting for me to read anything on the screen. I have some photos saved on the pc at home but its always harder to notice in a photo.

Ok, so I may have fixed my podcast issue as well. There is a setting in Podcast Republic under the Media Player options in Settings.

When audio is interrupted temporarily
Lower audio volume
Pause the playback
Rewind 5 seconds

The default is Lower audio volume. I changed it to Pause the playback and I haven't had the issue resurface since. Hopefully this is the permanent fix, if it is I will deem my OPO to be perfect.
