I am getting 5-6 hours of screen time typically, and I am using 50% or greater brightness most of the time.

Battery life has been excellent for me. (its in a different league compared to a N4 and even a N5)

Its much better than the S4 GPE it replaced.

Anybody have a recommendation for remapping a bluetooth headset command so it does not open the voice dialer but instead goes straight to Google Now voice command?
 
Changed spreadsheet to NO for invite 😛, came in a few hours ago and apparently many others got the invites too today check your mail:

I bought the flip case 2 days ago in advance since I knew this is definitely the phone to challenge the Nexus in every category including value and CM friendliness where others may fail. 2 categories, that are increasingly more relevant to me, battery and storage. And at these prices, I could jump to Nexus in November, should the Nextus have more going for it besides L.

What cases work well with this phone? For now when mine arrives it will probably sit home while I make sure nothing is wrong with it before activating in on a plan. Still have not figured out where to get a decent non bulky case.

Right on their site under accessories. I got that flip case, there are reviews for all but the bamboo cover.
 
Got an invite, went ahead and bought it. How long does shipping typically take? I will compare this with the G3 and see which one I decide to stick with.

I ordered on August 2nd and it shipped on the 5th. Tracking says it should be expected to be delivered today.

Shipping is USPS and must be signed for. Also, the likelihood of Redstorm's and my phone already made is very low, I'm willing to bet the info will reveal a manufacturing date after our orders.

I'm liking their accessories and prices are decent.

I was thinking about tmobile too but their unlimited plan is pretty much what I pay for unlimited with Verizon now including a corporate discount. If it wasn't for the 20% discount it would be a lot more just for one phone.

I'm going to go with metro since I'll be able to get the $60 plan for $55 and they basically merged with tmobile since they rolled out the new bands in my area.
 
How long should we wait for a response to a pm about an invite? I sent dawheat a pm offering an invite and with only 24hrs to redeem it I want someone to have a chance if I don't hear back from dawheat.

Once they click on the link it expires in 24 hours. I guess give it some time because once you send it out, that's it.

I have not received any invites from oneplus yet.
 
This invite says it expires 24hrs from the time Oneplus sent it, not once you click the link. That is my dilemma. I'm under 20hrs already.
 
Hmm I figured it would start count down once it reaches the persons inbox but I guess not.

Not sure, I would wait a couple more hours and probably see what happens.
 
If I get an invite eventually I might still pick one up. Although I just got the LG G3, I was originally planning on buying this. Mainly because I thought I would be able to get my hands on one before the G3 came out. That didn't happen but oh well.

Why do you say that? If the guy ordered on the 2nd and the phone shipped on the 5th, the phone didn't get made on the 4th. They ship out from the US distribution center. I highly doubt they put in some 2 day international shipping for you like Apple does.

They're not that lean.
 
Most of the manufacturer dates on the phones of people who ordered around the same time as me have build dates of 7/8, 7/16, 7/18. One guy got one today with a 7/28 date.

My shipping is 2 days priority mail. Waiting for the mail man now.

Great now they put a post on one plus forum saying they are stopping invites for the month of August. Something along the lines of they don't have enough for customer service and that they are swamped.

  • They're slowing down invites to forum members and shifting the balance more towards invites to share so you can give your friends/family.
  • Despite this shift, they're still targeting 100k forum member invites by August end
  • They're pacing invite rollout with customer service needs, so they may be slowing down, but not stopping. So maybe they're hitting full stride in production like 30k units a day or something, but they're not going to produce that many because then they'd have too much in their hands to deal with.

Did you unlock the boot loader and root yours? I'm debating what to do. I don't want to run into issues because I've seen CM is buggy in some areas. I've rooted and unlocked plenty of other phones but since the software is custom here it could have issues. Users also mention an audio fx force close issue that renders the phone almost unusable.
 
They have so many issues requiring customer service that they have to slow down sales? Thank god I didn't use my invite... sounds like a lot of early adopter growing pains.
