From the preview I will say this: It has the quality of a made for TV movie.

Take that as you will.

Other kind of retarded things are:
1. Why would a jet fall from the sky, while cars are zooming around just fine.
2. Why was the lady not let past the 'police line' when random people were casually strolling around on either side in the backgroud.

The second one kinda annoyed me. Like they needed to make up a cheap way to inject some kind of authority tension where one didnt exist. I really hope the quality starts to go up for that kind of tripe.

I realized it was a remake when I saw SciFi showing a movie from the old one. Not really sure what it's about so I might just go into it with out any expectations.

Didn't ABC have the show Invasion? Kind of sucked when they just killed it. That's one of the problems watching new shows, you're not sure if you'll get a story arc.
