This is what im talking about...

http://www.teeter-inversion.com/

I've seen the commercial a few times for it and right now they are running a $15 for 30 day trial.

I have 2 discs screwed up in my lower back (bulging discs in lower lumbar). I don't have nearly as much pain as I used to just because I stay away from doing certain lifts at the gym, but i still work out reguarly and play football on the weekends.

I also sit at a desk all day.

Sometimes when I wake up in tthe mornig my back is really stiff as well, partially due to my old bed as well as my disc issues.

I'm just wondering if anyone has used this before and has any opinions on it.

I don't know if it's that exact one or not...but my chiropractor used to strap me into a similar torture device to help alleviate some of the pressure on my bad disks. IMO, it really didn't help, because as soon as you're right-side-up, gravity takes over again.

There's some fancy-schmancy "traction device" used in some chiropractor offices that is SUPPOSED to help with bad disks. I've read very mixed reviews. (drx 9000) My work comp laughed when I asked them if I could try it.

There are as many bad reviews of the machine as there are good ones...and tons of lawsuits, scam and fraud accusations as well...

I have a bulging disc that's caused me back pain for a few years now. I bought an inversion table (not the teeter one, but they are all basically the same concept) to see if it would help. I used it regularly for a while, but I have to say, I really didn't notice any improvement. Now its kind of just collecting dust.
