anyone ever used a site like founder2be.com or founderdating.com?

just curious if anyone has ever used one of these and if they have had any luck. i listened to gimlet media's startup podcast and he used founderdating.com to find his actual business partner.

i signed up for them but it seems like founderdating won't let you do anything without paying. well you can get a 10 day trial, but you have to enter cc info to do so, which i haven't done yet. i signed up to founder2be.com the other day which will work for free, but that site is more of a freemium site because it's quite limited as a freebie.

anyone had any experience with either, or sites like them?

It would be awesome if you somehow found your business partner here.

It certainly wouldn't be me, though... I have no practical experience in sales, marketing, fundraising, or executive level people management.

Other than that, I'd be a perfect fit as a co-owner of a business

I always wanted to work at a startup as a product designer or tester, though. I'm not a developer, but I'm good finding bugs and usability issues.

i'm actually speaking to someone tonight about an opportunity to be a co-founder. i have to sign an nda before i talk to him too because he's going to spill the beans about the product.

i've had multiple contact from founder2be.com but none from founderdating.com yet, but as i said, i didn't sign up to the 10 day trial yet so that could be a reason why lol.

oh THAT one ... yeah that one wasn't the idea i thought it was after i did more research.

there is already some software out there that does stuff similar from companies that have been around for some time it seems. and while it's still possible to enter a market that has already been tapped, i am not passionate enough about the industry to take that risk.

so i guess i jumped the gun quite a bit with thinking it wasn't out there yet heh.
