I have the opposite problem, well, I have no central heating. The humidity is usually over 50% here, usually significantly. Recently bought a dehumidifier, which I run 24/7, have to empty it of water almost daily. I use default settings, which target 50%.Have you tried a humidifier? With the cold air and heaters running, rooms get super dry.
It's rare that it gets "super dry" around here and when it does, it's quite the treat!
