Anyone ever use a Thermaltake LowProfile gorb?

Here's a link... does anyone know if this will fit on a regular S370 slocket? I've got a dual mobo that has the slots kinda close together.

I put this over in CPU & Overclocking too, but I figured you guys hang out here more! :D

The highest this mobo goes is 133fsb, and I don't plan on juicing the chips with a lot of volts, so I'm not sure how extreme I need to go with the cooling.... less expensive is better, but not at the expense of quality obviously... just don't know if I really need to spend $70 on a pair of hs/fans if these low-profile gorbs will do the trick at $8 a pop...

I've got a low profile Gorb.... but on my GF2 card! It certainly does a good job of cooling it. I can o/c to the max settings in the driver settings without any problems at all.

I do know that they're regarded as poor coolers in the o/c community, but if you're not overclocking they're certainly good enough for S370 cpus & definately better than OEM coolers.

I'm sorry but I've no idea if they'd fit on a slocket, but if you want I'll whip the side off the case and measure it up for you

for what its worth...
I'm not at home so I can check, but I have been using the full size GORB by ThermalTake (not a knock-off) on my son's celery 667@850 and it works just fine. If I remember right after 24 hrs of Seti under the desk with poor ventilation in a warm room it never goes above 110F.

I've had the 667 to 900 but it started eratic Seti behavior. I did bump it just a hair on the voltage.

I saw some full size last night at Fry's in Dallas for $14

Yeah, I have several full size gorbs... wondering how well the low profile ones work... Anyone?
