Anyone ever try those oil leak stoppers?

My car leaves a small oil spot and I was considering trying one of these, but had usually considered "miracle additives" to be bogus as a rule of thumb. Anybody tried or knows someone who has tried these, or know if they actually work at all?
 
If it is minor, it will fix it. I have used STP stop leak, and it worked for me, on 2 occations, so maybe go with STP since i know it works. Depending on what you drive, thicker(heavier) oil also cuts down on leaks...but try the leak stop.
