I am a little confused...I have been reading around it seems that I cannot just do a one way from London to Brussels type of thing?

on this website they say this site

There are no one-way leisure fares, and if you ask for a one-way journey you will only be offered an expensive business-orientated full-fare one-way journey for £155.

Doesnt that mean I cannot just do one ways or what?

All I want to do is travell from London to Brussels, then Brussels to Paris within a 2 week period...and maybe see Brugges on a day trip.

As well, what is the different between the semi flexibles and the non flexible and fully flexible? I was reading the definitions on Eurostars website, but it makes zero sense :(.

any thoughts appreciated!

take a cheap round trip ticket but never do the trip to Brussels?

what ?

I mean never take the round trip back to London. Sometimes a round trip ticket is cheaper then one way.

edit: and take the train from Brussels to Bruges, you don't want us crazy Belgians meet you on the highway :p

super flexible in Italy, i mean you did not even need a ticket you could buy it on board (kinda awkward thought with the language barrier) but they have these automated machines where you buy tickets and it prints them out, then you just validate them when you are about to board a train (depends on what type of train) you can also buy open ended tickets that just have to be used within the next 2-3 days, it's all fairly confusing thought when you are there, so short answer yeah there is a one way ticket just make sure you get second class, first class is really expensive. also make sure the whole trip is on the same train, you don't want to be switching trains and stuff on your first trip.

edit:::errr and all the trips i made where one way, so no restrictions that it had to be two way...

hahha, dont worry I will be taking a train to bruges :D...can I use the same ticket I used from London to Brussels to travel from Brussels to Bruges in the same day and back? A little confusing...haha

Archi, that is very confusing...but I plan on buying tickets right about now for my December 26 trip to Europe... so I can make a set schedule of what hostels I will be staying at, so the non flexible is okay from the sounds of it.

You could try Ryanair. Even though it tends to be via the smaller, lesser known airports, you can save a ton. Same for EasyJet, but I don't think they fly to Brussels from London.
