I put up my sony cdx-ca650x cd player on their site and i stated to ask mysellf, how long is this gonna take? I mean theres no hit counter to even see if someone is looking at it, thers no time limit or anything, it just sits ther with the other 5 cd players just like it and i wonder if this thing will ever work.
Anyone had experience? How long did it take to sell, if it sold, and how many were you competeing against?

I sold a few books there before. some of them were college textbooks and others were different books. The college books sold in about a week to 2 weeks. The other ones sold like 1 to 2 months later

edit: you should sell those on ebay

I've bought some cds/dvds on there, but never sold anything. I've had good experiences buying stuff, though.

I've saved enough money by buying used textbooks trough half.com that I can buy a DC with the amount I've saved. Granted, I've only bought like 2-3 books but money is money. I also sold a book for half thr price that I bought it for (bought for $90, sold for $45-$6 half.com commision-$6 shipping :( ), but it's better han selling the book to my shool's bookstore for like $20.

The biggest problem I encountered with half.com is how they handle eturning orders. I bought a textbook but failed to realize the edition number scenario. The seller didn't have the dition number in his description and I bought it, not even taking into account that important info. I had no luck trying to find the guy's e-mail address (wasn't his fault, but half.com's). I had no direct way to contact the seller to return my book so I ended up keeping it. Didn't really matter anyhow, since I dropped the class because of the arrogant and lazy professor a month after that.

I currently have about 50 books listed at Half.com and sell about two a week. I've only listed one electronics item, and it sold within a week of my listing it because I put my price below the other ones listed (wanted to get rid of it fast).

I like Half.com for books better than eBay because it's a pain to list stuff that sells for under $5 anyway.

Never sold anything, but bought once... took forever and the price was pretty lame. Now I'm not using it again :)
