Anyone ever seen 1.5v rechargable batteries?

What do you need them for? 1.2V rechargables give out much more consistant power, normal alkalines drop in voltage very quickly.

Yes, I don't see why you'd need anything more than the 1.2 volt Li-Ion batteries. The Li-Ion batteries work fine in everything that supposedly needs 1.5 volts.
