Anyone ever received a box in the mail after forgetting they ordered something?

I got a small box in the mail and for the life of me I couldn't remember what I'd ordered. So I open the box and inside is a lens hood and an invoice from adorama camera. I had to go back and check my email for the order. I placed it on 6-14 of this year! Four full months ago. But hey, I have my hood now. Text

Wow. I once had a baseball card I bought from ebay show up like... 8 months late. Funny thing was that it was postmarked 8 months ago and the stamp itself was never cancelled. I think it got hung up in the PO for a loooong time.

Did it take them 3 months to get around to shipping it? Or was it lost in the mail for a while?

Hasn't happened with anything I paid for, but when I got in on that free Visual Studio 2005 deal I wasn't sure what the hell the box was.

It was part of an order that had numerous things in it, the hood got held up for some reason. I never thought about it then forgot it.

I'm a member of yourmusic.com where they send you a cd once a month that's on your list. I always am pleasantly surprised when they arrive. I completely forget about it every month.
