Anyone ever power washed a cedar fence?

I'm considering renting a 1000 psi power washer to clean my cedar fence.

Anyone ever power washed cedar?

How good of a job does it do and how likely is it I'll gouge the wood?

At 1000psi, I wouldnt be too concerned about gouging the wood, now if you rent a professional model with 3500-4000psi, you will get a nicer job, but your chances of gouging the wood go up dramatically.

1000psi?? Why bother...you need at least 2400psi or above to see actual results.
