There are a couple of books that are out of print in the U.S and they have new editions on the U.K Amazon site. Was wondering if there are any hassle's for Americans putting in orders there?

Not exactly. I have ordered from their .de (German) site to send a book to a friend in Germany. I simply logged in with my US login/pass and it worked fine.

for some reason, a lot of finance books are cheaper in the UK (even after shipping). Probably some copyright/publishing thing (I know some books are liike 80% cheaper in taiwain or elsewhere in south east asia, but I don't know how "legit" those are). Anyway, I have placed many orders from amazon.uk and other UK bookstores and I have never had any problems (except that shipping will obviously take longer).

I end up buying a few textbooks from them each semester. No problems here....

I've bought a lot from them, stuff Amazon US doesn't carry. Never a problem. *shouldn't say that, I suppose

Thanks for the replies everyone. Just placed my order and it was a piece of cake. I liked that I was able to use my existing account and didn't have to make another one.
