Anyone ever heard of the band Chevelle?

I've listened to them since there first release back in 1999. They were awesome then. This new album that they have coming out due in October is going to be awesome. I received there prerelease from a radio friend of mine a month ago and loved it from the beginning. It's an amazing album. 5 local radio stations have picked up on a single a have been playing the song "Red". I just hope they don't get killed on the radio and ruin one of my favorite bands. I'd like to see them get the attention they deserved from the first release but lets not run this thru the broken record player like Creed.

Anyone else a fan? Link to the album on CDNOW

For those that haven't heard them the style they play borders on Hard Rock to very edgy alternative grunge.

Never really listened to any of their music but they'll be playing at a concert I'm going to

I should check some of their stuff out

not heard them live so that would be a cool experience.

and btw neomits did you ever get rid of all of those star wars cards you had? 😀

I was going to buy those off of you awhile ago...did you ever sell them thru ebay?

I have a few of their songs (mp3) and I like them. They're playin Ozzfest but I prolly won't be there early enough to see them. (goin' tomorrow)

They suck! No, I haven't. 😉

Ozzfest? Really? Either I'm getting out of sync with the popular new stuff in the rock world or Ozzy is scraping.

For those who like Tool, check out Chevelle. They've been called a Christian Tool. Yes, they're a Christian rock band. If that turns you off, you've got problems. They are a very talented band, that should break into mainstream very soon. Another example of a Christian band that did that recently is POD.
