Anyone ever hear of a movie called Cube?

Saw the movie Cube recently and despite having doubts about it in the beginning it turned out to be a very unusual but good movie. In a nutshell its about several people who find themselves imprisoned in a gigantic cube and they have no idea how they got there. To matters worse as they try to escape they find out some of the rooms within the cube are booby trapped.

If you're ever looking for something different to watch then this is the movie.

I liked cube quite a bit. I haven't seen cube 2. I watched cube zero the other day, its a prequel and it was ok...decent tie in with the first one, but the story was sort of stupid.

I was watching it with my friend. At the end of cube zero some woman the protagonist saves is with her daughter in the woods where they escaped. The protagonist is dead/trapped and they're looking at a comic style picture that he drew of them. They're huddled up together and she says "See honey, thats us. We're superheros."

My friend at that point says in a horrible falseto "We live in the woods and drink rainwater and eat bark. And our super power is...being cold."

I thought it was a pretty good movie. It was really low budget. They used one room for the whole movie and just changed the color of the lighting. I have not seen Cube 2...

Cube was an interesting concept. Kind of like an extended Twighlight Zone or The Outer Limits episode. I watched some of Cube2 the other night on the SciFi channel but really didn't get much of a feel for it.

someone mentioned Gleaming The Cube. he rocks. Slater at his best, lol.

As for the actual "Cube" movie...not too bad. a little out there and wacky, but a decent geek watch.
